Shoulder Group

The MOON Shoulder Group is part of the Multicenter Orthopaedic Outcomes Network.  We are a group of surgeons and researchers from around the United States who work together to do high quality research on conditions involving the shoulder in hopes of improving care for our patients and advancing scientific knowledge.  MOON Shoulder Group first met in May 2004, and has grown to include more than 40 surgeons at 16 centers.  The group has twice been the recipient of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Charles S. Neer award, which recognizes outstanding clinical investigations contributing to the understanding, care or prevention of injuries to the shoulder and elbow.
